Nancy's path to writing is a bit unorthodox, having spent the last 30 years as an entrepreneur/inventor. In the '80's she started a print shop, operating it for 8 years before inventing a product called the Pie Saver, which are foil rings that prevent pies from burning. Despite her love for pies, she also has a passion for healthy eating, especially amongst children. This passion fueled her foray into writing, and she incorporates this message into fun nutritional activities which follow readings at schools, libraries, etc. Nancy has two children and three grandchildren and lives in Maine and Florida with her husband of 41 years.
Nancy loves kids, nature, camping, fishing, cooking and adventure!
